Join City of Prescott Recreation Services and parks throughout the country in a fun challenge to see how many pollinator species can be documented this September. It is easy to participate by downloading the iNaturalist app and joining our project: https://www.inaturalist.org/projects/parks-for-pollinators-2026-city-of-prescott
With the iNaturalist app, you simply take a picture of a pollinator (bee, butterfly, bat, etc.) or plant, and the online community will help identify the species. You can participate by exploring the nature and wildlife in the Prescott area and all of Yavapai County.
Any observation you make during the month of September will count during our event. Then join us for the FREE final event, our Pollinator "Bio Blitz" on Wednesday, September 30, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm at Watson Lake, where we'll be tallying up our pollinator counts and celebrating with giveaways and prizes!
